A single garment, such as a cotton t-shirt, requires about 2,700 liters of water, an amount equivalent to what a person should drink over more than two years.<\/p>\n

Moreover, fast fashion promotes a culture of excessive consumption, where the value of garments has diminished in favor of quantity and speed. Every second, a truckload of discarded clothing is either burned or sent to landfills, with less than 1% of it actually being recycled.<\/p>\n
