A new tour of the United States: Opificio Modenese’s latest collection, PE 24, is inspired by the United States, and today we’ll travel together.
Our latest collection, Spring/Summer 2024, is inspired by the coasts of the United States, and what we’d like to do with today’s article is to show you some of the beautiful American cities that we have named our fantastic garments after.
Lahaina, Hawaii:
With our first stop, we land in Lahaina. A charming village located on the western coast of Maui Island, Hawaii. Rich in Hawaiian history and culture, Lahaina inspired us with its wonderful beaches to create this bodysuit. Our Lahaina is a short-sleeved bodysuit with a round neckline. On the right side near the waist, there is a circular cutout reminiscent of the shape of the beach.
Coronado, California:
Our next stop is Coronado, a picturesque seaside town located on Coronado Island off the coast of San Diego, California. Famous for its iconic golden sand beach. Thanks to the coastline of this stunning and chic place, we at Opificio Modenese have designed a formal high-waisted trouser, with side pockets and ribbing down the center of both the front and back legs. From the knees, two slits open up, giving the trousers a flare.
Outer Banks, North Carolina:
Located off the coast of North Carolina, Outer Banks is a series of charming barrier islands characterized by wild beaches and picturesque fishing villages. This nature lover’s paradise inspired us to create this dress with a fabric made of hemp. It is a floor-length tunic dress with a round neckline.
Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts:
As our final stop, we travel to Martha’s Vineyard. A captivating island off the coast of Massachusetts, renowned for its breathtaking beaches and rural landscapes. OPI[MO] has created this trench coat, drawing inspiration from the vegetation of Martha’s Vineyard. It is a reimagined trench coat, characterized by two adjustable belts at the waist with two metallic buttons, regular fit, and two rectangular pockets on the sides.
