For the new S/S24 collection, Opificio Modenese drew inspiration from the magnificent American coasts. Let us illustrate the key points of our creations.
Sustainable and Innovative Fabrics:
OPI[MO] supports the commitment to environmental sustainability by integrating eco-friendly research fabrics into its collection, not only the distinctive Sensitive fabric of the brand but also 100% natural fabrics such as hemp and nettle. It is worth noting that Sensitive undergoes environmentally conscious production processes; every phase of the production cycle is monitored to reduce water usage, energy consumption, chemical usage, and waste.
Garment Dyeing:
Hemp and nettle are exquisite fabrics, and we use ancient looms for their production. Through innovative and patented processing techniques, the fabric is washed and dyed. With this approach, we preserve traditions while moving towards a more sustainable and conscious future. The garments feature a natural dye patent, the “secret” of which lies in the binder, the vehicle that creates affinity between fabrics and the world of natural and synthetic pigments.
Vibrant Colors and Unique Prints:
This season’s color palette captures the lively essence of the American coasts, with a bright red evoking beach sunsets and Powder Blue reminiscent of crystal-clear waters. Additionally, we’ve included many other colors, including classic Black and White, Yellow, Lime, Sage Green, Indigo Blue, Pink, Mauve, Cocoa, and Sand.
Unique original prints are always present in OPI[MO] collections. This year, we’ve created a floral print called “Roses” featuring pink roses. Another print, “Streets,” draws inspiration from the bustling streets of coastal cities, with geometric lines and cheerful colors recreating the dynamic movement of urban life. Lastly, “River”, reminiscent of the watercourses of American landscapes.
Elegant and Innovative Details:
Recurring elements include ruching, asymmetries, and cut-outs that add a touch of originality and sophistication to each garment. These details enrich the fluid garments and structured silhouettes, reflecting the adventurous and modern spirit of the collection. Each piece in our collection is carefully crafted with attention to detail, 100% Made in Italy, and aims to invite exploration of the world and to be carried away by the emotions of new discoveries.
