Lunch at friends’ house. Everyone at the table!
Lunch is ready and on the menu there are spaghetti with tomatoes sauce, chicken scallopini with butter and lemon, wine as drink and fresh fruit for dessert.
You sit at the table in front of a plate of spaghetti with tomatoes sauce. You wrap them around the fork, but something goes wrong and they fall off your trousers!
Don’t worry! You have to act quickly so that stains do not dry and become difficult to remove.
Go to the bathroom and wash the stain with water. Then search for talcum powder and spill it on the stain. If you know the host well ask him a slice of lemon to rub on the strain or hydrogen peroxide. Rinse with water the stained part and, while you are waiting it dries off, join again guests.
Now second course is served. The person next to you is cutting chicken scallopini with butter and lemon but clumsily hits your elbow pushing it into your plate. The result? Your sweater is greasy.
Absorb the oily stain with paper towel then scatter it with talcum powder, leave for 8/10 hours. Talcum will avoid stain ring and will reduce stain dimension. When you come back home, rub Marseille soap directly on the garment and leave for 10 minutes, then rinse with lukewater.
You come back to lunch, finish your dish and drink some good wine, but a little drop falls on your t-shirt and the person on front of you point it out. Don’t worry! You will easily find products which can remove wine stains.
Take off your shirt, ask for coarse-grain salt, put it on the stain and allow to react for 30 minutes. Salt will absorb wine.
If you need an emergency treatment: sparkling water on the satin and, once at home, wash in the washing machine.
Now the dessert is served: fresh fruit.
This time nothing wrong happens and you enjoy your desert. Let’s suppose you stain with fruit…here some tips!
If you are at the restaurant, ask for an ice cube and pass it on the fresh stain, then go to the bathroom and rinse under fresh water.
If you are at home take a basin, add water, a spoon of table salt, squeeze a lemon and mix. Dunk your garment and rub the stain.
A valid alternative is milk: home take a basin, add a glass of milk every half liter of water and soak all night long, then rinse.
