New Trends for Spring/Summer 2024. Every change of season and therefore wardrobe change, one never knows what to wear. Fortunately, fashion can help us find new ideas or reinvent old ones. Let’s start with some trends that will be in vogue this Spring Summer 2024:
Roses and flowers:
When life isn’t all roses and flowers but the clothes on the runway are. We all know that for Miranda Priestly in The Devil Wears Prada, floral patterns in spring are not at all original. But as in the previous season, one of the main trends will be flowers and especially roses. Opificio Modenese has included in its latest collection a unique print with delightful roses, fresh and youthful.
Draping:
Draping, draping, draping. This season, dresses, tops, skirts, etc., will be draped. OPI[MO] has created: Coney Island, this short-sleeved blouse all draped with piping both in the center and on the raglan sleeves; Long Beach, a short-sleeved dress with a rounded neckline. It is completely ruched and draped; Catalina Island, a midi skirt with asymmetric stitching and trimmings, draped on the right side.
Femininity, pastels, ballerina inspiration ballet:
This S/S24 will be very feminine, with pastel colors and inspired by the elegance of ballerinas and dance. Opificio Modenese has designed and created these three splendid pieces: Del Mar, a sleeveless bodysuit that closes at the bottom with snap buttons, with an asymmetric neckline; Corolla, a shawl with a single sleeve made of lightweight hemp jersey, characterized by an asymmetric drape starting from the shoulder; Chincoteague, a dress with ruched straps and an open back, with a ruched drawstring that can be tied with a bow and crossed at the front.
Bauhaus palette:
One of the predominant color palettes on the runways is what we could define as Bauhaus. As in the works of art created by the famous school of design, art, and architecture, in the S/S24 shows, we find bold primary colors like yellow, red, blue, and even green. OPI[MO] has created these pieces in these vibrant colors: Naples, a sleeveless A-line midi dress, characterized by a longer waist part that can be adjusted as desired and a draped neckline.
Venice, a hoodie slightly shorter in the front than in the back, has two invisible pockets on the front and adjustable drawstrings on the hood.
Santa Monica, long jogging palazzo pants, with elastic waistband with drawstring.
Outer Banks, a long tunic dress, with a round neckline and characterized by spiral seams replacing the side seams.
Lastly, Martha’s Vineyard, a classic trench coat, characterized by two adjustable belts on the waistline with metal snap buttons, with rectangular pockets on the sides and midi length.
Denim:
Denim is an evergreen and will not be missing in Spring Summer 2024. Opificio Modenese interprets it with denim-effect fabric in various garments such as: Sitka, a short single-breasted jacket with a wide cut, with a 2 metallic snap button closure and notched collar; Provincetown, sleeveless short dress, characterized by a square neckline and visible stitching, with crisscross belts that adjust the waist and two invisible pockets on the sides.
